The British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies (BAPLA) is a trade association that promotes the interests of picture libraries and photo agencies. It has over 420 member companies who between them manage more than half a billion images. The association promotes best practice and standard contracts, provides a forum for debate, and lobbies government on behalf of the industry.
