British Institute of Professional Photography
The British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) is the premier qualifying body for professional image makers in the UK.
It aims to improve professional standards, develop skills, encourage continuing professional development, and safeguard the future of the industry by lobbying government and communicating through the media.
Membership
BIPP has more than 3500 members covering all types of photography. Benefits of membership include training courses run by experts in their field and a chance to acquire the highly regarded BIPP qualifications: Licentiateship (LBIPP), Associateship (ABIPP) and Fellowship (FBIPP).
Awards
BIPP runs the British Professional Photography Awards jointly with the MPA. Its monthly glossy publication is "The Photographer."
