British Society of Underwater Photographers

Founded in 1967, BSoUP is the largest underwater photographic society in Britain (yes, there are others), run entirely by volunteers.

It holds regular meetings in London, runs a monthly competition, and a larger, annual Splash-In competition.

Activities

BSoUP website has a huge selection of underwater images, hundreds of pages of relevant information and articles such as "Are your buoyancy skills good enough?".

Resources

BSoUP's coverage of information relating to underwater photography is second to none. It offers a complete guide to diving establishments in the UK, has a comprehensive list of maritime museums and galleries, and an index of underwater photographic competitions including the North Sea Film Festival for Underwater Movies."
