Master Photographers Association
The Master Photographers Association (MPA) is the UK's premier fully qualified organisation for practising full time professional photographers. It was established in 1952 and now has over 2000 members for whom it provides educational qualifications, regional meetings, national seminars, business building promotions and marketing support.
Publications
The MPA publishes "Master Photographer Magazine" and "Digital Magazine." In conjunction with Kodak, the MPA runs the MPA Kodak Wedding & Portrait Awards to find the best images of the year in these categories.
Find a photographer
Much of the MPA website is devoted to facilities for finding a photographer -- chiefly for weddings, portraits or commercial work, but also for PR, medical, forensic, architectural and other branches of photography.
