Professional Photographers of Canada
Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) developed from the Commercial and Press Photographers of Canada formed in 1946. It advances all forms of photography, provides a forum for exchanging ideas and opinion, encourages education and helps its members extend their professional skills.
Affiliates
Many regional Constituent Associations are affiliated with PPOC, enabling local networking and centralized benefits. The services of photographers among the affiliates are listed in the searchable PPOC directory.
Activities
At the PPOC National Convention, the annual Image Competition showcases what are considered to be the best images taken in Canada during the year. The website galleries are well worth exploring.
