The Picture Research Association (PRA) is a professional organisation in the UK for picture researchers and picture editors. It provides career information, IT and copyright advice, and holds meetings and events for its members. It also provides advice to other professional organisations and individuals.
Publications
PRA publishes "Montage" magazine and a monthly news digest called "The Bulletin. It also provides FREE material to visitors, such as an information pack about the industry and the skills picture researchers need.
Freelance Services
Full members of the Picture Research Association can obtain freelance engagements through the association's Freelance Register. Prospective employers can search the database of registered PRA picture researchers. The database lists researchers from many countries -- and you can specify a geographical location if this is important.
