Professional Women Photographers
Created in 1975, Professional Women Photographers (PWP) is an active group of over 200 women photographers that aims to support and promote their work by sharing ideas, resources and experience. Headquartered in New York and run entirely by volunteers, the PWP is highly active in holding meetings, exhibitions, and in organizing an Outreach Program to mentor and encourage young, emerging female student photographers.
Services
PWP provides educational forums, encourages artistic growth, and stimulates public interest in the art of photography. Incorporated in the State of New York, PWP holds workshops, seminars, student awards and imaginative exhibitions.
Publication
PWP publishes "PWP Magazine" three times a year, available for downloading in PDF.
