Technical Association of the Graphic Arts
The Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) is a professional technical association for the graphic arts industries, with 900+ individual members worldwide. Its focus is on technology development in graphic arts systems and on traditional press, ink, and paper engineering applications.
Conference
The TAGA Annual Technical Conference is its main event. (This major conference is referred to as "TAGA" more often than the association itself.) TAGA also holds smaller, specialized conferences and acts as co-sponsors for other technical conferences around the world.
Activities
TAGA also sponsors many scholarships and fellowships for students. It publishes the "TAGA Journal of Graphic Technology," a peer-reviewed journal designed to meet the needs of the global professional graphic applications industries.
