Ugra
The Association for the Promotion of Research in the Graphic Arts Industry -- Ugra -- is a body that operates the Swiss Centre of Competence for Media and Printing Technology. Ugra was founded 50 years ago and has established many ISO standards during this time. It has a staff of experts in most aspects of the graphic arts and it publishes a wide range of display analysis and certification tools used in printing and proofing.

Among Ugra products is software such as CMYK Optimizer, a Mac-based program that allows a prepress company to ensure that jobs are fully compliant to color separation standards.
Affiliation
Ugra leverages the neutral status of Switzerland and has an international focus, working closely with the German organization Fogra.
