Andy Pro

For the photographer who specializes in black-and-white, Andy offers emulation of the film/paper/developer combinations that were so successful in the past. It provides 10 film and 10 paper simulations for free. But it goes even further. If you obtain the pro version you get a much greater choice of simulation: 66 film/developer simulations and 52 paper/grade simulations, making a total of over 3,400 different combinations.

This plugin to Bibble (RAW processing and enhancement software) can keep the most erudite b&w photographer amused for hours, "developing" virtual Fujifilm Neopan 1600 with three different types (each) of virtual Fujidol, Microfine, D-76, or SPD. It's long way from simply hitting the Grayscale button.

Note that developer Sean Puckett has created a huge array of Bibble plugins, including Ansel (image zoning), Cammy (camera/exposure info) and Gina (skin tone correction).
