Colour Studio
Formerly called "Final Impact," Colour Studio is a collection of 5 plug-in filters for use with Adobe Photoshop or compatible host applications.
- HotShot: image enhancement and color-correction, with 18 sliders and 70 presets
- RetroGrade: classic black & white film reproduction (see separate entry: Black & White)
- Fluoron: vibrant color changes for artistic impact, 11 sliders, 80 presets, with sci-fi effects
- Alienator: random color regeneration, ironically with lots of controls
- Vivida: a free sample filter for boosting image colors, 9 sliders, 20 presets
Comment
These are among Steve Upham's best plugin filters for photographers: not freebies but very low-cost. They all support RGB 16-bit mode for 48-bit images.
Anyone designing a science fiction book jacket would appreciate the intense coloring capability of Fluoron, Alienator and Vivida. They are all great fun to use and highly recommended.
