If you've accidentally deleted your image files, File Scavenger can help. It is also a full data recovery program that can rescue files even when the volume in question has been deleted and its original position and size are no longer known. You need to install the software on another hard drive or run it from a portable device such as a memory stick. Like all recovery software it can only recover files that have not been overwritten by new data. However, on computers with sufficient RAM it can scan extremely large volumes holding hundreds of megabytes of data.

File Scavenger can recover data from hard disks, floppy disks, ZIP disks, memory sticks, flash cards, and RAID arrays. If Windows says your files are corrupted, all may not be lost if you run this utility. In most cases it will recover more files than you would have thought possible.
