Broderbund has replaced its Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer with this product: Scrapbook Boutique. Instead of hyping the number of graphics it contains, the developer quietly states its capabilities.
For example, the photo editing has layer management, page resizing, dynamic drop shadows, photo effects, red-eye removal, cropping tools, opacity controls, color matching with an eye-dropper, text effects and spell checking. It's a more sensible approach, if not quite as eye-catching as "50,000 irresistible images" (etc.) There are pre-designed themes for love, weddings, family, friends, baby, kids, holidays, seasons and celebrations -- everything you need for successful scrapbooking.
