Paint Shop Photo Express
Paint Shop Photo Express is an all-in-one package for the home user, offering plenty of organizing tools for photos, videos and music files, together with basic and advanced editing features, and publishing facilities for making photo books and slideshows, prints, DVDs, or uploading to the web.
A Quick Fix tool automatically adjusts brightness, contrast and sharpness, so you can improve picture clarity and make colors stand out with a single click. More advanced tools are available from the More Tools panel, with facilities to fix blemishes, whiten teeth, and convert photos to black & white, sepia or antique styles. Easy Photo Sharing lets you upload directly to Facebook or Flickr and you can post videos direct to your YouTube account.

The developer describes Paint Shop Photo Express as "the easiest and fastest in photo-editing programs," and it seems to live up to the claim. Quick Fix works well on many images, while the other, manual tools come in useful for retouching minor blemishes.
Paint Shop Photo Express is a relatively new product, designed to stake a claim at the low end of the market so that Paint Shop Pro Photo can move further into the professional field. Corel acquired ULead Corporation a few years ago, and the results are now coming through.
