Tone Adjuster
Tone Adjuster brings further controls over tonal adjustment to Photoshop users who require extended functionality. Its Cubic Bezier spline can help tame the tonal curve, together with probes that can be placed on the displayed image for an instant readout on a graduated black/white tone bar. This plugin gives you a choice of three different brightness models (HSL, HSV and YCbCr), together with a brightness only preview. A full histogram indicates the tonal distribution.

Like its companion product Color Adjuster, Tone Adjuster works best if the image is 16-bits per channel. It is not very easy to use, but is aimed at advanced users who understand color and tone adjustment -- and who are not intimidated by B-splines.
This is a good tool for the enthusiast, but most photographers will find sufficient tools in other editors.
