Topaz DeNoise

Topaz DeNoise is a widely used noise reduction package that works automatically, with the addition of some manual fine-tuning. First of all, it detects how much noise is present in the image, then it provides a suggested version. If the user thinks the image needs more or less denoising, there is a control to increase or decrease the effect.

A key feature of Topaz DeNoise is the inclusion of presets for commonly required processing. These go under such names as Raw Normal, sRAW Normal, and JPEG HQ. You can also create your own presets -- and perhaps share them with other photographers, as many people do.

Comment

If you read in the forums what people have to say about denoising software, you'll soon discover that most people like Topaz DeNoise. Many users think it's the best, although (surely?) it's a close-run race between all the major denoisers.

Topaz DeNoise supports batch processing, 8-bit and 16-bit RGB color modes, non-destructive editing (by using Photoshop smart objects) and works well with multiple CPUs, for which it is already optimised.

Topaz DeNoise should not be confused with Softwhile DeNoise. They really are different.
