Aurora Quick Fix
Aurora Quick Fix enables the user to remove dark shadows, bad lighting or other problems that can ruin a photo, using quick-fix methods. The full version of Aurora also lets you edit, organize, share and store your photos.
Aurora's key feature is the powerful and intelligent Relight tool, which brings out details previously hidden in the shadows, without blowing out the highlights in the rest of the photo. In a sense, says the vendor, Aurora "turns on" the light inside the image to create a better, more realistic photo. Other tools let you change the color temperature of the image, color strength and contrast.
Comment
Although Aurora Quick Fix is not exclusively a quick-fix tool, this aspect of its capabilities is clearly the most important. It comes from the developer of LightZone, one of the leading RAW converters. Perhaps because of the need for advanced algorithms, most quick-fix software is quite expensive -- so this FREE version is very welcome.
It is a massive download, but, once you have it installed, it lets you edit your photos quickly and then share them with family and friends.
