Photo Essentials
Photo Essentials provides five tools to improve (the already good) facilities of Photoshop Elements. They include a quick-fix color tool; another for removing unwanted backgrounds; add a "professional look"; add edge effects; and enlarge pictures for poster-size prints.
Most of the above speak for themselves, but the "professional look" comes in a module called Make It Cool. It consists of a library of professional looking effects that you can add to your image in one click. They include conversion of the image to powerful black and white ("like Ansel Adams") and conversion to simulated art styles, classic film styles and darkroom techniques like sepia toning and cross processing.
Comment
Adobe Photoshop Elements is a great host for plugins, without being nearly as expensive as the main program. This package of high quality plugins is very welcome because it brings a real increase in functionality, just where it's needed.
