iCorrect EditLab Pro
iCorrect EditLab makes color correction as easy as possible. It offers a wizard-like approach to accurate color, letting you correct the white balance, exposure and specific hues as you step through the tool set. It performs each operation without letting one correction upset another.
iCorrect EditLab is particularly strong on those parts of the workflow that involve using the Levels control in Photoshop. Its SmartColor Wizard feature is a "mini-workflow" all by itself, with tabulated tasks that are conducted in strict order: 1. Color balance: color cast removal and white balance correction. 2. Tonal range: set black point, white point and midpoint. 3. Brightness/contrast/saturation adjustment. 4. Hue-selective edits: fine-tuning the color.
Comment
If you are frustrated by the trade-offs and compromises of using Levels or Curves, iCorrect EditLab rationalizes the process and minimizes the errors. For color managed workflows it lets you save correction parameters as ICC profiles.
iCorrect EditLab Pro is a very mature application with ongoing development that has added new features like automatic black & white conversion, sepia toning, and color toning. Whether it really is "the best shortcut to perfect color" as the vendor claims is for users to judge, but it is certainly a valid approach and has been praised by independent reviewers.
iCorrect EditLab Pro can be integrated with a RAW workflow although it does not handle RAW images directly. A full tutorial on how it combines with RAW conversion can be found on the vendor's website.
