PhotoTune
PhotoTune is a color correction tool that has been designed as the simplest way to correct color, tone and contrast in an image. It "works like an eye exam" to figure out what may be wrong with an image, then it fixes it. In a single click it can correct brightness, contrast and color, thus cutting down the bewildering number of options that are normally presented to the user. Its SkinTune feature can color correct portrait images in one click, rather like using a gray card -- but for skin.
The latest version has dynamic range enhancement that remaps the tones in your image to look more natural, the way your eyes see it.
Comment
PhotoTune was once called 20/20 Color MD, developed by PhotoTune, but the developer's name is now the product name following acquisition by onOne.
Although most professional photographers will want to take longer over making adjustments to their images, some are under pressure to produce hundreds of pictures very quickly.
This tool is for anyone who values time.
The latest version is available from Amazon (see right panel).
