BreezeBrowser
BreezeBrowser converts RAW images, generates web pages, produces proofs and contact sheets, and conducts a whole range of post-processing operations. Its features include such options as levels, gamma correction, saturation adjustment, resizing and sharpening. It offers RAW conversion for Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Minolta and Olympus cameras, with preservation of Exif metadata. One feature that sets it apart from other processors is its "combined conversion," obtaining excellent coloration with a first conversion combined with a second pass to improve highlight detail.
For web page generation BreezeBrowser offers plenty of templates -- and new ones often appear on the vendor's site. It even allows you to create an online ordering system with a PayPal shopping cart: surely a novel extension for a RAW converter?
Comment
Chris Breeze's BreezeBrowser software began as a Canon-only tool then expanded to include other brands. It has been highly praised by reviewers and has had endorsements from many professional wedding and landscape photographers. Strong in the areas of proofing, printing and batch conversion, it is competitively priced -- and for some photographers it provides just the workflow they need.
