ProofMaster

ProofMaster is a modular system consisting of Calibrator, Editor and RIP, which between them allow the separation of calibration and profiling from job preparation and actual proofing.

ProofMaster is aimed at companies engaged in offset, gravure, newspaper, flexo- or screenprinting, providing them with color-accurate contract proofs for standards-based specialty printing such as packaging. To the core technology you can add further product options including:

The modular approach means you can expand your investment in ProofMaster as your company grows.

Comment

Despite being a modular product, ProofMaster has a multi-featured core and facilities to meet all the color demands of high-end packaging. Independent tests (www.large-format-printers.org) have shown it to be a viable option for the CMYK proofing environment.

Unusually for RIPs, ProofMaster runs natively in a Mac environment as well as on PCs. It is aimed at the print/publishing industry rather than individual photo studios.
