Shiraz Focus

Shiraz Focus is a RIP designed to produce high quality prints on inkjet printers, and is aimed primarily at professional photographers. It comes from a UK developer with masses of experience in RIP software, especially in large-format printing with the well-known Shiraz RIP.

Shiraz Focus offers full ICC colour management with built-in profiles that support a wide range of media; intelligent nesting and job management to ensure minimum waste and optimum production; and easy set-up and operation, with wizards and templates to help the user.

Shiraz Focus is said to be one of the easiest RIPs to install and operate. It lets you create image libraries that you can easily browse -- and from which you can select the images to be printed.

Comment

To use Shiraz Focus you customize a layout template or select one from the list of single or multi-pack templates available. The next step is to fit the images to the template, using features such as rotate, mirror, pan and zoom your images to create the layout. You then select your output media from the long list provided; set parameters such as quantity and print marks; then "send to print."
