SWF 'n Slide
SWF 'n Slide lets you put your slides and some music together as a professional-looking slide show in the Flash file format. It also outputs HTML to form a web page for the show.
SWF 'n Slide comes in two editions: Standard and Professional, the latter having a WYSIWYG workspace and more viewing types including scrolling thumbnails and 3D Album (a page-turning simulation). Other features are sound effects, narration or background music, together with playback control buttons so that the viewer can pause or play the slide show.
SWF 'n Slide presents 150 transition effects, special effects such as fireworks, falling snow and hearts which can be superimposed on the slides, pan and zoom camera effects, plus resize, crop, rotate, and flip. You can even add a preloader to enable smooth playback over the Internet.

This is a versatile and reliable application that is great fun to use. It was created by Flash specialists who know how to extract the best from the medium. Reviews have been highly favorable, mentioning that it is well laid-out, easy-to-use, and has excellent file handling facilities.
The name is a little off-putting, but if you say "swiff" (just like you say "sequel" for SQL) it rolls off the tongue a little better.
