Filters Unlimited
Filters Unlimited is a huge collection of filters in a single Photoshop compatible plugin. Not only do you get those supplied by the vendor, but access to another 2000 FREE filters via links. It is also a filter development system that lets you build your own filter effects, just in case you cannot find the right one in the library.
The 350 filters are organized into the following categories: Buttons & Frames; Color Effects; Convolution and Distortion Filters; Edges; Frames; Gradients; Image Enhancement; Lens Effects; Noise Filters; Paper Backgrounds and Textures; Pattern Generators; Render (such as Smoke, Stone, Wood); Special Effects (such as Focal Blur, Puzzle, Venetian Blinds); Tile & Mirror; and Video effects.

When Filters Unlimited was launched a few years ago, some reviewers said it was the most useful Photoshop utility they had seen. Yet it had only half the filters that it has today. Don't be put off by the slightly outdated presentation of them on the vendor's website, because they're really quite good.
Filters Unlimited lets you stack multiple filters and toggle between the original and the filtered image. Other effects packages may offer special effects that are more subtle and original, but few of them match Filters Unlimited on quantity and value.
