PhotoFrame Pro

PhotoFrame Pro is specialist framing software to add border and edge effects to images. The pro edition provides over a thousand different options for adding border and edge effects to complement your images, each with a real-time preview.

The vendor has grouped some of the frames together in special collections, chosen by well-known photographers. You can find the right frame easily in a browser, while a preview grid lets you compare multiple frames at once. If you're adventurous you can even use the random frame generator, in the hope that serendipity will make the decision for you.

Comment

As a virtual framing tool PhotoFrame Professional Edition could scarcely be better or more comprehensive. Its appeal is to professional portrait or wedding photographers who want to offer novelty finishes to their prints.

Bearing in mind that these are virtual frames rather than actual ones, PhotoFrame Pro is not inexpensive -- but the huge volume of artwork has required a substantial investment.
