Plugin Commander

Plugin Commander helps you to view and manage your plugins, effects and actions, acting as a library from which you can select the items and display them in the host application. It comes in two editions: Lite freeware and a Pro commercial edition with many additional features.

The host application can be Photoshop, Premiere, PaintShopPro or many other editors. Working with Photoshop it deals directly with image formats, plugins and effect types and allows you to apply plugins to the images, one at a time or in batches.

Plugin Commander Pro can batch convert between different formats, resize and rename images, and convert among four Filter Factory plugin formats and operating systems: Photoshop, Premiere, Windows and Macintosh.

Comment

The Pro edition of Plugin Commander works not only with Photoshop-compatible filter plugins but also lets you view Photoshop Actions, Paintshop Pro Tubes, QuarkXpress XTensions, Quick Time Extensions and many others. You can enable/disable any of them, whatever the host, but you cannot necessarily change category or use the picture editor on them.

The Lite edition of Plugin Commander is much more limited than the commercial edition and runs significantly slower.
